Stealing Color

I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of contemplating art. The moment is which a person stands in front of a art piece and starts to look at it ….. is priceless. It is the moment in which the viewer is trying to understand the piece, the artist and his purpose of doing it.
In that instant they have the live piece in front of them and nothing stops them to see the entire thing.

What happen if the viewer stands in front of an art piece, and one color of the art piece disappears?? What if he’s wearing the color that disappears??

The viewer will have the power of changing the painting just by standing in front of it. The art piece will be shown without the stolen color and the viewer will be affected because he will be looking at an unfinished piece.

I will work with Mondrian Paintings.

The setup of the installation will include:

1. A projector in which the art piece will be presented
2. A camera in the upper side of the projection
3. A Lighting Controlling space
4. A white background
5. Blue, Red, Yellow and Black t-shirts
5. Processing sketch of color tracking

The audience is basically anyone
