At the end of the too-short winter break, I took a drive to the US Military Academy at West Point and the Seven Lakes close to the Bear Mountain State Park. Even though it was winterish, I was overwhelmed with beauty and scale of the natural scene. I should, definitely, go to somewhere this fall again.

-West Point Museum
I visited to the United States Military Academy at West Point and looked around its museum gallery. I could see the transition of weapon humankind has made to kill each other from a stone club to an atomic bomb. Especially, firearms such as rifles, machine guns and pistols are mainly displayed. The fact that the human race has developed science and engineering to make efficient(?) weapons made me sick.

- Similar to the bomb shown above was released over Nagasaki, Japan three days later after the atomic bomb over Hiroshima.
If you are planning to go there, you should include hot dogs of Suzie's Restaurant right across the street. There are over 200 hot dogs, and I recommend a San Fransisco Hot Dog as well as a New Jersey Hot Dog. |
