It is much easier to watch Premiership football than Seoul because of the time difference. Usually, games are 8am~2pm on Saturday or Sunday. Nevada Smiths located at the 3rd ave. btw 11 & 12th st. is a wonderful place to enjoy Premiership football in NYC. In this season, I've been there about five times.
Today's game was Man Utd. vs Reading and Chelsea vs Fulham. Ji-Sung Park was a starter but he couldn't show his ability well. I also disappointed with Rooney who also lost his aggressive dribble and penetration. Although I don't know why Chelsea became a public enemy, the bar was always filled with "F--k up Jose" or "F--k up Chelsea." The plays of two Koreans were not satisfied but I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the last moment that was a kind of celebration of Chelsea's draw as well as victory of Man Utd. |

Yesterday, I played soccer with friends from various countries in manhattan(awesome!). They came from Italy, Germany, France, Mexico, Japan, St. Vincent, Russia, US, and so on. I wore the Korean National Team uniform with Eulyoung marking.

There was a indoor ground. Each team has 5 players, 2 points to win. My team won once, lost once.

There were several outdoor artificial lawn grounds. I took this pic after the game. You may see the empire state building over there.

The other side.

The view from the outdoor ground. It's lower manhattan. |
