Cario, Egypt. A new tomb was discovered in Giza. According to archeologist John Stankly, the tomb is extremely complex and elaborate and so is believed to belong to a Pharaoh. But who?
Egyptian and American military units to guard the site during excavation and to close it off to the public. This is the first time an excavation site was ever kept off-limits.
The Egyptian Authorities’ official comment is that there was nothing to be found in the tomb and that it has been deemed unsafe to continue digging any further. The tomb has been sealed.
Many Egyptologists have been calling foul-play; they believe something is being hidden from the public and there is more than what meets the eye. Did the Egyptian authorities find something in this tomb that would history as we know it?
There are many questions unanswered. Why would Ancient Egyptians go through all the trouble of eradicating such an ornate, complex tomb, and then seal it up, if it’s just empty? Why is there so much secrecy surrounding the excavation? What is the Antiquities Authority trying to hide?? What did they find down there?
Only one artifact have been retrieved before the tomb was sealed off: a strange wooden box.
