Subjective/Objective

I adopted horse as my animal.
The goal of this project is to make two separate, but relating pieces to make a whole piece.

Viewers can see a short video of a racing horse projected at the back of the horse. The video is about a horse who made a very intimate relationship with his jockey. When the horse broke his leg during the race, he went to the jockey as if the horse was taking care of human. Usually breaking legs is fatal to a horse as they need to support the heavy body with their legs, and it brings tremendous pain for horses.

But this story is emotionally touching that the amial seems to care his jockey. In that way, I think it can be subjective.

Horses see the world with gray to yellowish colors. But we do not know what they ‘really’ see or perceive what they see through their eyes. In this piece, I tried to express that in an ambiguous way it is made.
