Asynchronous Heart Beat

Story of this animation was kind of sick. Because I want to export this animation into my ICM, the story should show some emotions directly or even fiercely. So I come up with the idea, and thanked to Ben who is already very fimiliar with drawing story board that he drew the story board quickly. Basiclly, the animation is based on story board, but some actions were really hard to be made in flash that we change it a little bit.

    Rucyl, Ben and I had a lot of fun in shooting video. With a clear story board at hand, the process of shooting and editing went smoothly. The hardest part of whole video making was the light, which cost us more than an hour to set up. Becuase the story and  the scene were simple and direct that we only spent about 4 hours in editing whole video.

  One of my friend, who has more than 1000 cds, once told me that he was confused about searching for one song from so many cds and those cds occupied his living space that his famalies complianed all the time. I suggeted him to buy a hard disk and convert cds into MP3, then these problems would be solved.

It looks very similar to a video game image. I think the image of "Silent Hill" was rooted too deep in my mind. Thanks a lot for my parnert Ben who has clear idea about what light and shadow should be even though got up at 4 am.

    Although the author of "The work of Art in the Age of  Mechanical Reproduction" worried about the aura of art pieces must had be decresed by reproduction. However, I think rather than dying away, the aura just like a plant producing many seeds to spread its live. Every single seed carried the same gene as his mother, but the place he located would change the shape of him. That means every production had its own trip thorough audiences than it would creat its own aura at last. As a result, I think mechanism provides a way proloning and extanding the aura of art pieces, more than decreasing it.

     The picture was made for a Photoshop contests on Fark.

2. GQ cover girl Pace Wu
     GQ magazine, which was published on Jan. 2006, altered the length of the short pant dressed by the actress Pace Wu. The actress argued that she wore a short pant, not just a underwear.

3. Kate Wincelet    
     The photo on the right side has been altered to make Kate look fatter and shorter.

    The article "Logging, Journalism and Credibility was based on the point of view that the tension between between blogging and journalism will go on. The article was wrote on March 2005, when people had great confidence that real "mass" media was about to come true. However, my working experience in journalism told me that traditional media will still exist and can not be replaced. Blogging will not substitute mainstream media but become a new supplement and a supervisor of them.

A prisoner met a father before death penalty.

"Do you repent of what you have done?" asked father.

"Yes, I repented being a robber at that night." prisoner replied.

"So now you confess that you killed the person you robbed?" said father with a frowned.

"I only confess robbing a bag with a head inside."
