In this workshop, we will be leading you in creating your own MIDI controller from scratch using materials available at the Shop (or your own purchased materials). In this first class - we will present the MIDI controller that we've created beforehand and go over step by step how it was made including fabrication and coding (Arduino).

After learning more about our process, we will brainstorm and ideate how you will create your own - either with the same design using the same code or if you would like to go for it on your own. We will go over materials needed, circuits, etc, and help you walk through building.

For the next class, be prepared with a prototype where we can work together and try to help troubleshoot. The final class we will talk about applications and show you how to integrate it with other apps like Ableton Live or P5js and talk about ways we can finalize your controller in terms of fabrication.
