The Mermaid Parade is a big ol' party on Coney Island! While this isn't specifically an ITP Camp thing, it's definitely a participatory art experience. If you're new to NYC and don't have anything planned on Saturday the 17th, it's worth seeing the theme park, the beach, and the amazing costumes!
