[CANCELED] Using Open Scad to create Printable / Cuttable objects
As a camp project I brought a newly resurrected a project from 2 decades ago called "My Sorry Bot". It is a kit bash of a giant Sorry(tm) piece and a Tamaya wall following mouse. This time I have access to 3d printing. Like many of my 3d printing projects I started the design in Blender but as soon as I started adding to the design things went south and I stopped having fun.
Enter open scad. https://openscad.org/
I have been very successful in making geometries that print consistently and though you aren't visually working with the shapes many of the techniques from blender transfer to scad's c like syntax.
In my workflow I integrate vs code and GitHub (for both source control and documentation) and I will walk through that in addition to any lessons I learn while working on my second and third generation sorry bots.
The documentation and code for this will be put up on github.com
