Block based coding environments are generally used to help teach students to code. Applications like Scratch, AppInventor and Microsoft MakeCode allow you to create complex applications without ever having to write a line of code.

However, block based environments don't have to be just for students! They can be a great way to open up programming to people who don't have time to learn to code or are more interested in creating.

In this class we will set up a very basic block based coding editor using blockly.

Basic JavaScript is preferred but definitely not required! I will be sending out a link to a online environment that people can use to code along if they wish :)
