In this session I will show you the basics of Raspberry Pi’s microcontroller, the Pico W.

We will be using ‘MicroPython’ programming language but absolutely no experience is required. In fact I’d love it if those of you with little or no experience with micro controllers could come!

I have 19 boards for us to play with so all you need is a laptop with either a USB A port or a suitable adaptor.

Please download ‘Thonny’ prior to attending, which is free and just needs an email address to set up an account. This is the program we will use to talk to the Pico W. There are versions for Windows, Mac and Linux.
