This series is an introduction to product design, with emphasis on resolving design details. In the following 4 sessions, we will go through various stages of the product design process, from conceptualization to fabrication.
Session 2: Intro to Rhino and 3D Modeling
Rhinoceros is a powerful 3D modeling software popular among industrial and architectural design professionals. The objective of this session is to help participants learn the basics of Rhinoceros through hands-on 3D modeling, and gain insights of the workflow of computer-aided design through practice.
Please come to this session with Rhino pre-installed on your computers. You could try Rhinoceros for free for 90 days, before you will need to purchase a license.
