A workshop in processing text with javaScript + NLP to create generative text bots which run with node.js. Participants should have some comfort with javaScript, vanilla or with the use of libraries like p5. Strongly suggested that participants use Unix based machines which run MAC OS or a Linux distro due to the terminal structure, Macs can be checked out from the ER. If you are very comfortable with Windows Command Prompt then feel free to join with your machine of choice.

Feel free to bring your own source texts that you'd like to process, anything in .txt works well! You can peruse Project Gutenberg for some if you'd like. I suggest selecting two texts that you wish to combine or contrast in your bot. Otherwise I will bring some files in to share.
