A two hour hands-on workshop exploring how to create music with code, and learn about the global livecoding / algorave communities, ethos, and practices. The workshop is beginner friendly! Any level of music or programming knowledge is welcome. Just bring a laptop (with Chrome browser, preferably), wired headphones, and maybe a friend!

We’ll be using a powerful web-based tool called Strudel — come to learn the basics, make a small song from scratch, and end the workshop with a jam <3

Expected Outcomes

• gain some respect for JavaScript

• overcome coding-related trauma

• make absolute bangers (like this Man in Finance tiktok meme remix I recently made in Strudel -- and you can do it too)
