This is an exercise of connecting ancient tech translated as a textile into a new one using your fav technique.
Have you thought about a Paracas bird as a medal or earings? A snakes pattern tocapu/poncho made of leds? or the jaguar sound from the kai pacha coming out from your chuyo?
In this session we are going to explore a little bit about 4 different pre columbian patterns from ancient cultures which nowadays are part of Peruvian history.
Based in these patterns we may discuss about different options to recreate them in whatever the materials/techniques/dialects you'd like to translate them using your own skills.
Open to all curious.

Some projects I've got the chance to organize in Peru includes sacred ancient venues so called 'huacas' >> https://youtu.be/zaFa8VwY7nA?si=QUAYaNTY9EBITcdK
