The first 20-30 minutes will be an overview of EE prototyping options, when to use each one, and a live soldering demo. The rest of the session will be hands-on time to try it out yourselves!

This session is aimed at absolute beginners who've never soldered before, but everyone with any amount of experience is welcome! Materials will be provided for the hands-on portion, or feel free to bring your own soldering project to work on.

Some of things we'll cover: tip tinning & cleaning an iron, types & formfactors of solder and flux, good and bad examples of breadboards perfboards & loose-wire soldering
