If you've ever wanted to make a NeoPixel project but didn't know where to start, this two-part workshop is for you.

We'll use NeoPixels, micro:bit, Microsoft Make Code, and LiPo batteries to create custom LED animations from scratch. This is a workshop version of my YouTube series

Last week, we set up the micro:bit, connected it to Make Code, and made NeoPixel animations. And before this session, you'll make your own animation for show and tell. :) (Did you miss it? No Problem! Watch videos 1-5 here, or just come and learn with us anyway).

This week, we'll have an animation show-and-tell and go further with making our animations interactive using the buttons on the micro:bit and connecting micro:bits using their built-in radio.

Materials * Bring a Laptop with internet access and a micro USB cable compatible with your computer. * I will have a few micro:bits to demo in class, but I highly recommend bringing you're own if you can! Here's a list of what to buy.
