The proposed workshop entitled 'Models of Memory' is a program of artistic practice combining theoretical and technological research. Participants implement artworks that negotiate the concept of memory in public space. Part of the process is to feed the AI with personal memories of the place they lived in during childhood and adolescence.

The workshop provides a framework for encouraging research in the creative arts based on the exploration of individual identity in public space. The memories will train an artificial intelligence model which will be used to develop resources.

The session begins with the creation of a psycho-geographical map on paper. Starting from their 'home' the participants depict places they want to remember or forget, places that defined their personality during their childhood and adolescence.

The 'Reading' module enables the interpretation and use of concepts and symbols in creative productions supporting the cultivation of conceptual data, combining words and symbols for creative expression. 'Writing' enables the participants to form an identity of public space and the public sphere, starting from a dialogue between the private and the public on the basis of space. Finally, the 'Execution' module will also be the completion of the process with the realization of an artwork.

For the development of the works participants may use a variety of expressive media, both traditional and contemporary, with the encouragement of open technologies.
