In this workshop, we will return to the basics of frame by frame animation, and learn how to use mixed media supplies to create original textured loops. We will learn how to sequence the frames to create digital stop motion animations, and discuss other applications of analog processes in digital work. The goal of this workshop is to leave participants with an understanding of the basics of how to create their own experimental animations, and an appreciation for returning to pen and paper in their work. This workshop is open to all skill levels, regardless of animation experience.
