3D Scanning with 360 Cameras: Hands-On Follow-Up

We ran out of time for outdoor shooting in our last session—so let’s do a real hands-on follow-up!
This time, we’ll actually go out, capture photos with 360 cameras, and process them together using different workflows. The focus is on practical experience: how to shoot, upload, process, and see how long it all takes.

• Go outside, shoot a scan with a 360 camera (bring your own or borrow from ER if available)
• Use my Polycam Pro account (upload more photos than the free plan allows!)
• Try different software: Polycam (browser), Agisoft Metashape (Mac/Windows), Reality Capture (Windows), Postshot (Gaussian Splat)
• Process the data together, compare results and workflows
• I’ll send you all the model/project files afterwards via email or Google Drive
