Curious about risography? Want to make a zine? This talk and dummy-zine activity will help you take the first step towards making your own riso-printed zine.

While we will not be operating an actual risograph machine, this session will take you through all the steps of how to riso print, from operating the machine to finished poster or zine. Learn how riso printing works, how to make successful color separations though a variety of methods (spot color, duotone, CMYK, spectrolite, p5.riso, and more!) Get resources, tips, and tricks on how to get your artwork riso-printed in NYC.

During the session, we will make dummy zines from single 11x17 sheets of paper - a dummy zine is a useful template zine that you can reference when laying out your future design.
