CANCELLED - Laser Cutting for Stencils

YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED SHOP SAFETY TO USE THE LASER CUTTER!

In this session I will teach you the basics of using the laser cutter through an exercise in stencil making.

We will start off by designing our own stencils and then go over how to cut these on the laser cutter.

you will need your laptop, a flash drive, and a word or short phrase you want to cut out.

I will be providing some material for everyone to try laser cutting but if you have lofty dreams and ideas that require a lot of material I would recommend buying some oil board from Blick: https://www.dickblick.com/products/duro-oil-board/?fromSearch=%2Fsearch%2F%3Fsearchword%3Dduro%20board
