🪷 Stillness Detector Workshop

Make art that reacts to serenity! Participants will be provided with a pre-constructed "stillness detector" that waits for viewers to be motionless before triggering something like a kinetic artwork or interactive piece. The stillness detector has built-in digital outputs for all states, and can also switch USB-C power to easily control a connected device. No coding or electronics experience is required to create artworks that reward tranquility.

This workshop extends the ideas discussed in Wabi-Sabi Electronics.
