Do you own your smart phone or does it own you? I believe it's important to be able to have full control the devices that you purchase and be able to explore all that they have to offer.
Truly owning your device means running your own code on it. While the sellers of these devices don't make it easy to do, we hack our way to jamming our own apps onto our phone. revolutionary! Observe how this is done or participate using free open source tools.

Using resources from this ITP course
we will build and hack sample apps for our mobile devices.
drop in to observe how it's done and ask questions on the process. All interest levels are welcome.
Optionally:
- bring a macOS computer configured to build for iOS and Android,
- Follow these instructions to prepare
- skip dev getting started
- Skip lets you write one app in Swift and SwiftUI and ship it natively on both iOS and Android
make sure you about 100gig free on your macOS computer before installing this stuff.
If you have issues with the setup or need more help, come anyway. we'll debug setup in session
