Are you scared of your breadboard? Does the void before the loop leave you feeling empty inside? Does an actuator sound like a self-improvement tool?

This is session is a super basic intro to physical computing using Arduino. You'll learn what an Arduino is, how some basic electronic components work, and how upload example code from your laptop to an Arduino board.

If you can, please download and install the Arduino IDE on your computer beforehand. Instructions for your operating system can be found here.

Please also bring an Arduino board (Uno R4 or Micro) and a breadboard (available for check out at the Shop) and a USB cable that goes between the connector on that board and your computer (available for checkout at the ER).

Be sure to check out your items at least 30 mins before the session so the Shop & ER staff are not hit with a rush!
