We live in strange and fast-moving times!
In tech, AI is everywhere. While there is a lot of excitement and speculation on what this technology offers, there's also a lot of exhaustion and pushback from artists, students, and the public.
We’ll gather for an open discussion about strong positive visions for the future. Bring your favorite sci-fi worlds, utopian fragments, hopeful essays, weird internet theories, speculative design ideas, Solarpunk references, Ursula K. Le Guin quotes, cozy futures, communal rituals, or personal dreams for better technology.
Together, we’ll talk about what feels broken, what still feels possible, and how we might begin building better worlds in small, concrete ways today.
Format: Group discussion / speculative salon
No preparation required: Bring a reference, idea, or question if you have one, but it’s also okay to just show up and listen.
Good for: Anyone feeling curious, disillusioned, hopeful, conflicted, or hungry for a more human-centered conversation about AI and technology.
