my co-founder jen & i started Toko, an English language learning app, in 2021, and have grown it to 1M+ downloads and 18K+ subscribers globally.
i'll spend the first part sharing how we've built Toko over the last five years: how we started, what surprised me, and what I'd do differently if I started today.
