How do we teach, learn, and create in the age of AI?

Many of us have contributed to making software and hardware tools accessible by building open source platforms, shaping pedagogical methodologies, designing educational materials, and creating communities. Now that AI has dramatically accelerated the automation of β€˜creative technology,’ what should teaching, learning, and making look like?

In this session, we invite you to unpack your experiences teaching / learning / making in this era through a curated set of questions. We will discuss frameworks and approaches to finding a healthy use of these tools in the creative process, while staying true to our own voice and goals. We will also co-ideate on tools that can change and empower how we engage with creative coding.

As a part of the conversation, Zach Lieberman who co-created openFrameworks and leads Future Sketches at the MIT Media Lab will give a sneak peak into tools he recently made to reshape the way he teaches and creates.

The session is run by: Zach Lieberman (https://www.media.mit.edu/people/zachl/overview/) and Yeseul Song (https://tisch.nyu.edu/about/directory/itp/941015613).
