I think image generation is very cool, let's talk about it! Join with all your questions on AI image generation. This will be an informal workshop on how “AI image generation” actually works. We’ll cover GANs, diffusion and flow-matching models, autoregressive image and multimodal models, plus some stranger ideas, like the learned building blocks that seem to show up across image models. I'll also push against the idea that these models are black boxes, and show ways to visualize and understand them.
Explore the “latent space” of image generation and experiment with different ways to train your own small models.
I know there are some technical words in this description, but I really can’t stress enough that beginners are welcome. This will be a conversation; we’ll answer your questions, unpack how these systems work, and how we can use open-source libraries, such as Hugging Face's Diffusers, to continue exploring. We can also cover 3D generation.
