Be among the first to explore ProControls for p5.js, a brand-new open source library that brings the tactile feel of real hardware into creative coding. In this inaugural June 2026 workshop, you’ll get hands-on with a powerful system of hardware-inspired UI controls designed specifically for artists, experimental designers, game developers, and creative technologists who want richer interaction without fighting traditional web UI frameworks. Learn how to build expressive interfaces that feel like synthesizers, control panels, scientific instruments, and custom electronic devices, all directly inside p5.js. As the very first public workshop for the library’s debut release, attendees will also have a rare opportunity to provide feedback that can directly shape the future direction of the project. If you care about creative coding, interactive systems, or designing software that feels alive under your fingertips, this workshop is one you do not want to miss.
First of two workshops:
Part I: Introducing ProControls for P5.JS
Part II : From Knobs to Noise: Making Instruments in p5.js and ProControls (Wed June 17, 12pm to 2pm)
