Movement Interaction Lab

Join us in the Media Commons on the 2nd floor (Rooms 221-224) where we have the pozyx.io indoor positioning system mapped to a 24’ x 40’ floor projection. We will spend most of the time playing with a number of different movement and sound-based interactions followed by a short walkthrough of all of the technologies involved including pozyx.io, TouchDesigner and p5.js along with the algorithms driving the interactions. However the focus of the session will be moving, listening and observing to see what we can learn about how people interact with the system and each other under different rules of play.
