This one is for the non-technical curious. If you've seen 3D printed objects floating around but never really understood how they're made, this is your session.

We'll start from the basics: what a 3D printer actually is, how it works mechanically and electronically, and what the different types are (FDM, resin, and beyond) along with what each one is best suited for.

From there we'll walk through the full journey of turning an idea into a physical object: where people find or create 3D models, what a slicer does and why it matters, how print settings affect the outcome, and what the common pitfalls and failures look like.

We'll also talk about the broader ecosystem, the communities, the marketplaces for models, and how desktop fabrication has gotten cheap and accessible enough that a lot of people are doing this from their apartments.

No prior knowledge required, just bring your curiosity and questions.
