The Basics of Design and Design Process

I'll go over the basics of 2-Design and what makes art aesthetically pleasing (although this is subjective at times). We'll also take a look at color theory, meaning studying the effects of color in design and articulating our emotional response to various colors. We'll also take a look at the creative process, looking at questions such as how to come up with ideas and how to visually express them.

This is an interactive session that's part lecture, part Q&A, and part workshop time. You will be encouraged to observe and analyze art.
