Physical Sensors in Virtual Reality: Connecting Arduino to Unity
This session will introduce the tools needed to connect Arduino to your Unity virtual reality experience/game/360 video/whatever else you make in the program. The first half of this session will be a brief overview of the different methods and boards you can use and the second half will be walking you through setting up an Arduino Uno and coding a simple script in Unity to get a potentiometer to rotate a cube with serial data. If people would like to stay a bit longer and work on trying different sensors or different interactions in Unity we can make that happen as well.
Slides to follow along here. We will fill in the missing steps in the session.
