All ITP Campers are welcome to join us for a special workshop session to introduce AfroCROWD and their work with Wikipedia Edit-a-thons to the ITP Camp community. Afro Free Culture Crowdsourcing Wikimedia (AfroCROWD) is a new initiative which seeks to increase the number of people of African Descent who actively partake in the Wikimedia and free knowledge, culture and software movements.

Ms. Sherry Antoine, MPA (@SherryAntoine7 ) , who is the Program Manager of @AfroCROWDit, is a Public Outreach Specialist, Consultant, Wikipedian and Blerd - will lead the Tuesday seminar that will introduce ITP Camp participants to what Edit-a-thons are and why they are important to document and support the diversity of technologists who are pioneering through the ever changing landscape of digital innovation.

Do you know any notable trailblazing artists, musicians, creatives, or inspired futurists who should be included in @Wikipedia? Bring your ideas and questions to our Tuesday evening gathering to learn how you can help to document the amazing work of ITP innovators.
