Human-centered design is a creative approach to problem solving that starts with the people you are designing for and ends with new solutions that are designed to fit the end user’s needs. We will introduce you to the concepts of human-centered design and how this approach can be used to create innovative, effective solutions for health. We will cover user research, empathic design, constructing a user journey, personas and prototyping through an iterative process. By the end of this session participants should have a thorough understanding of human-centered design, prototyping tools, interface evaluation techniques and designing for health tech.
