Tejuino Friday
Written by Alden Jones on June 15, 2018, 8:31pm
Woof another full day, sessions running 10AM to 10PM. Gail continued her morning yoga series Kundalini Yoga Brain Break to get us up, present, and ready for another day.
And then the day picked up fast. Craig talked us through the world of projection mapping and madMapper with Augmenting the World with Light - Projection Mapping. Missed it? You can catch some of it here.
Quickly following up, Smita got us set with a hands on session introducing campers to Maya with My Oh Maya.
Projection returns in the afternoon as Arantxa tries to bring out the performer in all of us in Multiple Perspectives: Performance with projections.
Craig is back but this time leading Mastering the Pen Tool, diving into Adobe Illustrator with tips and tricks for the Pen Tool. Brush up on your skills and play the Bezier Game here.
And we're not even out of the afternoon yet. Cheng and Paul followed up to their Wednesday open data workshop with Making Data Tangible Pt2, John ran the second class of his unity workshop, Unity3D for non Gamers **, and Kate taught us how to build our own speakers, starting from first principles in **DIY Speakers & Headphones.
And then, taking us into the Friday night party, Craig taught us how to get good at go with Learn to Play Go / Baduk / Weiqi.
For the Friday Fireside Marco cooked up a truly amazing batch of tejuino for us to drink and prepared some snacks to go along with it.
The day wasn't over yet, we still had a bunch more to learn. Right after the party Danny taught us about his life, his practice, and his philosophy in The Disrupting Sketchbook.
And then Roy closed us out with three hours of everyone's favorite version control tool: a git primer called Git and Github: A Thorough Introduction.
Wow what a day, TGIF can't wait for the weekend.
