It was a packed day yesterday and we know you are feeling FOMO! But your lovely counselors are determined to keep you in the loop. =P
Check out some highlights below!
Scrapyard Challenge - Build DIY MIDI Controllers
We started off our day with the Scrapyard Challenge - midi controller edition! A great way to get everyone acquainted with diving into the junk shelf and making their own strange and wonderful instruments.
Solar Power Hour
Solar power hour with Jeff Fedderson had campers searching for sunshine in an effort to generate their own electricity.
Art in the Age of Instagram: Experiential 101
Drea Velazquez joins us from Refinery29 to share her expertise about experiential art and where it's headed. Hint: less instagram wings, more narratives!
Peer-to-Peer Websites
We cannot have a society in which, if two people wish to communicate, the only way that can happen is if it's financed by a third person who wishes to manipulate them.
Recent grad Alejandro led everyone through the basics of creating their own peer to peer websites.
Room-Scale Interactive and Context-Aware Sensing
In Room Scale Interactive and Context Aware Sensing, campers began plans to construct their own sensing wall based off of a WDW research study. An ongoing project through camp, if you'd like to get involved - feel free to drop David Polinchock an email!
Accessibility and Net Art
Ashlin makes us more mindful of others with his session on accessibility.
