We're Halfway There!!!

You're tired and your brain is saturated. You've downloaded 20 new programs and your computer keeps complaining about hard drive space but you aren't quite ready to delete your vacation photos from 10 years ago. You're getting sleep, but your dreams don't make sense anymore: Why can't I import my 3D scan into Arduino? How do I create a MAX patch to open Terminal (I can never find the damn thing, anyway) and animate it with Cinema 4D. You might even entertain taking this weekend off, but you won't. You crave it like we crave it. You can't bear to miss a full day of interesting sessions. One of us! One of us! One of us!

Making Data Tangible: Part I

Cheng Xu and Paul Buffa drop by to remind us how much data we have, and well, we might as well visualize it! They demonstrate how to visualize your data and turn it into a physical object.

3D Scanning Your Own Digital Avatar

Matt Romein breaks out the StructureSensor and shows us how to 3D scan ourselves. Even better, he shows us how to dance like we've always wanted to dance. I can't Samba in real-life, but the 3D me can Thriller for days.

The Drawing+ Club Presents...

Counselors Stevie and Terrick share a bit of ITP tradition and guide us through a nice and relaxing drawing session.

When the Physical Meets the Digital, and the Ethics of an Overlayed World

David Polinchock reviews a variety of projects that have combined the physical and the digital to create interesting experiments in the future of space. Such a lively conversation around all of our work!
