Solar Power Hour (and a half)

Photovoltaic (PV) material directly converts light into usable electricity. We'll do exactly that in this hands-on workshop. We'll look at a few different types of PV material like thin-film and monocrystalline silicon; learn what PV is realistically capable of; see the additional electronics necessary to interface them to batteries or our own projects; and weather permitting, take PV outside.

Supplies - we'll use solar equipment available at ITP, but bring your own if you have any!
