Interactive Spaces PART 1 (Ideation)

Interactive Spaces will be a series of sessions that culminates in a final work displayed as part of the Show All Things Show. It starts with an ideation session to find a set of common directions and co-working groups.

We will go through a couple of methods to come up with some interesting possibilities for interactive environments. In particular we are interested in the intersections of:

• Projection Mapping
• Movement
• Light (Objects)
• Site Specific Contexts
• Environmental Storytelling
• Wearables & Costuming
• Incorporating Tangible Structures and Components
• Spaces within spaces

We will also discuss the affordances/possibilities of interactive artwork in relation to public and private spaces.

This session will be followed by two more that will focus on making the things we decide on/imagine.
