Coffee 101 - What makes good coffee, good + Tasting

Coffee is so damn expensive averaging at $4 a cup and upwards of $6! Worst part is, you might even get a bad cup of coffee. You also have probably encountered 'coffee snobs' who could possibly give you false information as well as disrespect your taste in coffee. This session aims to clarify any misconception, as well as expose you to the basics of coffee and hopefully train your tastebuds to identify good coffee. The session will begin with a presentation on coffee basics and end with a tasting session of drip coffee (letting you try 'bad' and 'good' coffee) made by me.

Credentials: I run a coffee house (Brewhouse: A Coffee Project - https://www.facebook.com/yncbrewhouse/) in my school that aims to provide affordable espresso-based coffee ($1.50) and training students in the barista process.

P.S. Unfortunately I have a limited budget and resources and might be unable to provide coffee tasting for everyone (I'll try my best!) so do bring your own bag of drip coffee (and cups if you're saliva conscious) if you would like to share your beans with the class!
