Light It Up

In this lecture and demonstration, I'll cover the basics of addressable LEDs: what you can make, where to buy them, some materials you can use to diffuse them, how to properly power them off of batteries or wall power, and how to program them with an Arduino. From there, I'll demonstrate how you can use inexpensive hardware to drive larger installations of addressable LEDs using computer based lighting software.
