Launch Weekend: Making Time

In this session, you'll learn how to build a custom clock from an off-the-shelf clock mechanism. We'll supply the mechanisms, clock hands, and various materials.

Clockmaking is a great excuse to learn various fabrication tools: the laser cutter, CNC mill, vinyl cutter, pen plotter robots, drills, and various hand tools. We foresee a lot of creative variations from this workshop. When we're done, we'll hang them all for display.

Note: It is strongly recommended that you complete Shop Safety training before this session. There will be some fabrication options for those who haven't completed it, but many that do require it.
