Waitlist Update - Anyone is welcome to join the session to listen and observe. The RSVP limit is set to 30 because I only have that many setups (arduino + sensors) for participants to follow along with. If you have your own Arduino + breadboard + sensors PLEASE BRING THEM!
Learn how to connect your Arduino microcontroller to P5.js to create creative visualizations and simple interfaces controlled by sensors. We'll also use p5 to control hardware actuators (leds, motors). We will discuss the basics of serial communication, and build an interactive Arduino circuit that talks back and forth with the P5 web editor.
We'll move somewhat quickly through the basics of Arduino and P5, so some experience with one or both is recommended but certainly not required.
Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and their own Arduino Uno and breadboard. I will have some available for checkout during the session. Bring any sensors or actuators that you're interested in playing with, I'll also have options for folks to use.
