Metal 3d printing to get to space

This session is an introduction to metal 3d printing.

But we will do so from a design and application point of view (the useful way).

We will discuss different printing materials, technologies and what are the differences between more commonly available 3d printers.

We will see some samples and how to approach designing parts.

Finally will talk about an example on how 3d metal printed parts are used to reduce cost and lead time for space applications.

Most important you will get to touch and feel printed parts!
