ML5.js: A Friendly Introduction to Machine Learning
This workshop will introduce basic principles behind machine learning by building creative projects in the browser. We will be using ml5.js(https://ml5js.org/), which is a friendly JavaScript web framework for machine learning.
Together with examples, tutorials, and datasets, the ml5 library’s goal is to make machine learning accessible to a broad audience of artists, creative coders, and students. The ml5 library provides access to machine learning algorithms and models in the browser with no other external dependencies.
During the workshop, we will demo examples built with ml5.js, and we will build a Classifier with Feature Extractor (https://ml5js.org/docs/custom-classifier) together.
Please bring your laptop with a Code Editor(Visual Studio, Atom, or Sublime) installed. Or create an account in p5 web editor: http://alpha.editor.p5js.org/
