Introducing...a new version of Processing: py5
I would like to introduce you to a new version of Processing I've built called "py5".
Py5 is a similar to Processing and p5 in that it provides tools for creative coding. Py5 uses Python 3.8+ and is designed to work well with other popular tools in the Python ecosystem.
In this session we will create some simple images and animations that demonstrate what py5 can do. You'll learn some Python while experimenting with py5. No local installations necessary! Everything will be done through your browser using mybinder.com.
I'm also very interested in having a conversation with you about where I'm going with this project. Questions and feedback are welcome! It helps inform my thinking about how to spend my time while developing this project.
