Online Theatre Post COVID: an interactive overview
Session Leaders: Erin Mee
Created By: Erin Mee
While online performance is not new, COVID has offered a unique opportunity for theatre makers around the world to move their work online, which has resulted in an expansion of the theatre's dramaturgical structures, modes of engagement, and foundational ideas about what theatre is and what it can do. Numerous new platforms have been combined to create interesting work that moves waaaaay beyond Zoom. Case studies are taken from the US, UK, Russia, India, and Argentina. Interactive: please bring a piece of chocolate or hard candy and a bowl of water to the talk. Be prepared to move around a bit (if you want to).
