How can art and technology educators work together to make curriculums more approachable and accessible? What strategies have they used to fill in gaps of access, experience, ability level, among other factors, especially as these differences have been pronounced during the pandemic? This session will serve as a time for educators to discuss their curriculums, as well as student engagement, learner choice, and empowerment. As a K-12 educator, I am interested in exploring how methods used to teach children can translate into making college and university level courses more approachable. What can childhood and college educators learn from one another’s teaching strategies? How can we work together to empower burgeoning artists and technologists?
